Are you interested in joining a tight-knit BJJ team that focuses on improving your training, your students and your business?

Then use the short application form below to get started!
Dear Coach and/or Gym owner,Â
Â
Do you want a successful gym without breaking yourself in the process and sucking the passion out of your grappling?
Â
Would you like to support yourself, your family and your students in a bigger way?
Â
Do you want to be able to continue to enrich your training, improve your own skills while still running a successful business?Â
Â
Well, you can have it all. You can run a rock-solid business, build an amazing gym culture, manage it so that it supports your life and lifestyle and not have your passion for BJJ destroyed in the process.
Â
If you want to learn how, then keep reading. . .
Â
I’ll keep this short and simple.Â
Â
Over the years I’ve had a lot of people inquire about becoming an affiliate under me but I was not ready.Â
Â
Anytime I take someone under my wing I see it as a big responsibility. And if I started an affiliation I wanted to make sure I could truly support them, their students and their businesses.Â
Â
Because from the time I started BJJ I noticed that
being under most affiliations means little to nothing.Â
Â
It’s basically a person you pay to come to seminars, throw around some belts and stripes and then you never see or hear from them again until the next time they come out.Â
Â
Very few affiliations regularly work to give coaching or business guidance to their affiliates.Â
Â
Now, if you have a great working relationship with your affiliation head, then great! Count yourself lucky. However, if you’re reading this page I have a hunch that you’re not exactly satisfied with yours.Â
Â
And look, I’ve been there before.Â
Â
I remember having a tight-bond with my coach as a student working up in the ranks and then in 2010 becoming the head coach of my gym and basically being on my own to make decisions about coaching, classes and business. I felt lost and was left to figure things out via trial and error.Â
Â
Now, I’ve done alright for myself. I’ve been full time in the BJJ & MMA gym business for 14 years and have helped create a booming gym with nearly 600 members. The gym supports everyone from professional MMA fighters and high level grapplers winning medals and champions to kids and your average casual grappler who wants to train.
Â
And so with my new affiliate program,Â
I’ll be offering everything that I personally would have wanted.Â
Â
Chewjitsu affiliates will receive everything from technical instruction and coaching information to improve the overall flow of their training.
Â
But just as importantly, maybe more importantly in some cases, they will receive business guidance to improve the processes in their gym and make it into a system that supports them, supports their staff and supports their students.Â
Â
I say more importantly because most coaches and gym owners in BJJ are fueled by passion. They got into the gym business game to change other people’s lives just like theirs was changed by martial arts.Â
Â
If this is you, I commend you, you’re just like I was.Â
Â
But, without a successful business your gym will become a burden on you as you’re constantly stressed about if you’ll be in business next month. And you might even have to close your doors and you’ll be unable to realize your dreams of supporting your members.
Â
Without a strong business, at best, you’ll barely hum along making little to no money, teaching every single class, feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, burnt out and having that passion for BJJ ripped out of your martial arts soul.Â
Â
It happens all the time. I’ve seen friends of mine fall into this trap. And if I’m going to run an affiliation, I’d like to help coaches and gym owners avoid it. Â
Â
If you're interested in joining me, you can see what's offered below and then fill out the form to get started.

Â
What's Offered to Members in the Chewjitsu Association
Â
- Initial Onboarding 1-on-1 : We’ll use this as a chance to get an idea of your business, training, goals and setting specific targets for the future. Then I'll be holding you accountable to these in the future.
Â
- Monthly content updates inside the Business & Marketing Vault. This can include but is not limited to newsletters, videos, audio teachings and interviews. All focused on what we do as gym owners and coaches. Whether it’s the gym, the online business, etc I want to give you a monthly dose of useful information to support your business journey.Â
Â
- Coaching calls every 1-2 months as needed. This is all about accountability. I’m doing monthly and bi-monthly as it generally takes time to execute in the business. These calls will be a chance to review, see where things are going and make adjustments from there. Just like you might do with your BJJ coach. You'll have direct access to me in the meantime as needed. (You'll have access to me via text or email in between these calls)
Â
- Yearly get togethers (mastermind & training). This would be an optional chance for you to come to my gym to meet with me in person and to train and discuss your business and challenges with other like-minded individuals. Imagine a room full of business owners discussing strategy and swapping tactics. It’s like asking a room full of black belts a technique question. You’re going to get a lot of different answers and plenty of options to try.Â
Â
- Special Free Seminar to New Association Members!: Generally my seminars can pull anywhere from $2000-4000 depending on size of gym, size of city and the amount you want to charge. As a new Chewjitsu Team member, it’s free to you. You pay the travel and keep any money you make from it. This could potentially cover your cost for the association by itself. (This is limited to the 1st 10 founding members)
